BlackBerry 8100 features myFAv that allows users to have one touch access to 5 of their favorite friends and family. The phone sports a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 3 zoom levels up to 5x with built in flash. It sports multimedia player with stereo headset jack and support for music formats like MP3, AAC and video formats MPEG4 and H263. The SureType keyboard technology helps in typing mails quickly. The trackball, intuitive interface, escape keys and dedicated menu make the navigation fast. The phone has international roaming through Quadband GSM/GPRS and EDGE networks. BlackBerry Maps is a new application added to the phone for sending maps via email or launch maps and contacts in the address book.
