Design

The U600 was designed specifically for Mobile TV with a rotating LCD, double adjusting hinge for easy desktop viewing and a digital power amp to make the whole encounter a sound experience. For optimal mobile TV viewing, just flip the swiveling 2.2-inch 240×330 pixel Screen display to landscape mode for a wide, clear view of the signal. The phone has 1.02” external Screen for quick access to incoming information and a view of the songs bringing music to your ears. It uses the T-DMB (”Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting”) system, which is a technology based on DAB digital terrestrial radio.

Camera

The phone comes with an inbuilt 3.2 Mega pixel camera. This high resolution camera takes pictures with good clarity with razor-sharp contrast and intense color images. It comes with a digital zoom, for taking photos at best angle. The camera swivels 180 degrees to capture high-resolution video in MPEG4 or H.263 video formats at 15fps with a maximum 352×288 pixel CIF resolution. It makes movie making very easy.

Audio

The Digital audio playback gives instant access to AAC, AAC+, and of course MP3 audio files. The embedded digital power amp allows for sharing the music with friends or just invigorating the air with the sounds that soothe.

The SGH-U600 is a 3G device with UMTS 2100, plus tri-band GSM and GPRS (but no EDGE). WAP, USB and Bluetooth connectivity make for quick downloads as you access music, images, movies and more.
